Hello crafty friends! Today I’m sharing my final set of handmade holiday gift tags for this Christmas season. Over the past few months, I’ve created quite a few tags. The process has been so fun and creative!
For this set, I used the Holiday Signs stamp set from Pretty Pink Posh. I stamped the images onto Bristol Smooth paper and colored them with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens in the following shades:
- Penguin: Black (10), Natural Gray (902), Cobalt (31), Green (40), Light Green (41), Bright Yellow (52)
- Deer: Mustard (67), Deep Brown (68), Geranium Red (29), Light Beige (74), Vanilla (73), Pale Pink (28)
- Santa: Geranium Red (29), Light Beige (74), Vanilla (73), Black (10)
After coloring, I cut out the images using my Brother ScanNCut. For the tag base, I die-cut shapes with the Scalloped Square Tags die (also from Pretty Pink Posh).
To create a soft background, I blended Distress Oxide inks in:
- Shaded Lilac
- Tattered Rose
- Peacock Feathers
Next, I attached the colored images with foam tape for extra dimension. Each tag was finished with a punched hole, a satin ribbon, and a touch of sparkle using Pretty Pink Posh jewels in Party Mix, Starry Sky Mix, Valentine Mix, and Sugar Plum Mix.
These DIY Christmas gift tags are the perfect way to add a handmade touch to holiday presents. I’ve loved sharing my winter-themed tag ideas with you these past few months, and I’ll definitely be creating more for other seasons and special occasions after Christmas! Be sure to check out another blog post where I share how I made Reindeer Holiday Tags with another stamp set from Pretty Pink Posh.
Thanks so much for stopping by, and I hope you feel inspired to make your own handmade holiday tags this season.
