Hello again! I decided to try something a bit different and make a card using grey card stock and colored pencils. I used the latest challenge at The Flower Challenge Blog as my inspiration.

For this card, I stamped the largest flower image from Altenew’s Blooming Bouquet stamp set with versafine ink onto some grey card stock which I cut out with a stitched rectangle die. Next, I sprinkled white embossing powder over the image and heat set it with my heat tool. I colored the flowers with my colored pencils. Then, I cut out several “hello” words with my Cricut Explore Air. I glued them together to create a dimensional sentiment and attached them to the top part of the card panel. Sometimes I like using a commercial-free font to create my word dies in the Cricut Explore because it’s more flexible in style and size.
I enjoyed making this card. I think I will try black and craft colored card stock with colored pencils for future cards!
Thanks for stopping by! – Mona
