Hello, crafty friends! I was so busy over the past few weeks and sadly didn’t have any time to craft. This weekend, I finally got a chance to sit down and create something! So, I decided to add to my holiday card collection.
For this card, I used the Snow Buddies and Let it Snow stamp sets from Honey Bee Stamps. The Snow Buddies stamp set is so adorable and has so many different images, which makes it very versatile too!
I wanted to create a frame of three windows on a slimline card, so I used my Cricut Explore to design and cut a simple rectangle with three squares.

Next, I cut out a piece of card stock the same size as my frame and blended three different distress oxide colors from top to bottom onto it. Once the ink was dry, I temporarily added the frame to the panel with some low tack tape so I could center the sentiment within the second square. I stamped out the sentiment with versamark ink. Then, I sprinkled it with white embossing powder and heat set it. To create the snow, I added some white acrylic paint to a stamp block, added water, and used a brush to flick it over the panel.

While the panel was drying, I stamped the images onto white cardstock, colored them with Copic Markers, and cut them out. I played around with the arrangement of everything, and once I was happy with how it looked, I glued everything in place. To finish the card, I glued the panel onto a side folding notecard.
I had so much fun making this card and was so happy to be back in my craft room after a long absence! I will be using this stamp set again to make some more cards and tags this week. Thanks for stopping by! – Mona
