Hello Friends! For today’s card, I kept it very simple and used one of my favorite stamps sets from Paper Smooches, Giddy Bugs. I also used other products from several of my favorite companies!
To make this card, I stamped my image onto white card stock, colored it in with Copic Markers, and cut it out. Next, I cut two squares with stitched square dies. I embossed a honeycomb pattern onto the larger of the two squares. To make the pattern stand out a bit more, I covered the pattern with the stencil and blended mustard seed distress oxide over it. For the smaller square, I used a cloud stencil with tumbled glass distress oxide to create the background. I stamped the sentiment onto the bottom of the square. I positioned the bee where I thought I would attach it, removed it, and then added the dotted lines underneath it with a stamp set from Pretty Pink Posh.
I assembled the card by adding foam tape to the back of the smaller square and attached it to the center of the larger square. I finished the card by attaching my images above the sentiment.
This card was really easy to put together and a lot of fun to make! Hope you give it a try! Thanks for stopping by! – Mona
