Hello! Hope everyone had a good weekend! Who doesn’t like a nice hot cup of coffee and a good book? I sure do!
For this card, I decided to make a slimline card using the Books and Coffee stamp set from Waffle Flower. I stamped my images onto Strathmore Bristol Smooth and colored them with Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers, cut them out, and set them aside.
I cut out the slimline frames from white cardstock using the Gallery frame #5 die set from Hello Bluebird. Next, I used a paper trimmer to cut out a 3.5″ x 8.5″ card panel from pale pink card stock. I blended distress oxide ink to the bottom of each of the three square pieces cut out from the frame die. I glued the frames onto the pink cardstock and then glued them three square pieces in the corresponding openings. To finish the card, I glued the images onto the card and added some clear sequins.
This stamp set is very versatile and there are so many different ways you can arrange the images to create many different types of card. They make the perfect card to send to a friend who loves to read or just loves coffee!
Thanks for stopping by! – Mona
