Furry and Bright!

My Favorite Things Happy Pawlidays stamp set and Square Peek-a-boo dienamics

Hello everyone! Today I am sharing another holiday card I made using products from My Favorite Things. For this card, I used an image from the Happy Pawlidays stamp set. I love these cute dog images! This particular dog reminds me of myself when I am trying to untangle lights for our tree! 🙂 Honestly, hanging the lights is my least favorite part of decorating the tree! I do love how it looks when the lights are plugged in, so it’s totally worth it!

I stamped my image onto Strathmore Bristol Smooth paper, colored it with Zig Color Real Brush markers, and cut it out. Next, I used the Square Peek-a-Boo die-namics to cut out a window frame from white card stock, which was 4.25″ x 5.5″ (A2 size). I stamped my sentiment below the window. Next, I took another piece of white card stock, which was the same size, put it underneath the window piece, and lightly marked the open area with a pencil. I blended distress oxide ink within the marked area going from dark to light (top to bottom). Then I added foam tape to the back of the window frame piece and attached it to the inked background piece. To finish up the card, I glued my image into the center of the window and attached the card panel to a top folding notecard.

I have made many cards with this stamp set since I purchased it and I see more projects in the future!

Thanks for stopping by! – Mona
