Christmas Raccoon

Hello! I am back again with another holiday card using the Christmas Raccoon stamp (ID-801) from AB studio. What a cute stamp!

I kept this card pretty clean and simple. I started by stamping the raccoon onto some Bristol Smooth paper. I cut it out and colored it with the following Zig Clean Color Real Brush pens:

  • Body: Mid Gray (96), Warm Gray 2 (900)
  • Cheeks: Pink Haze (201)
  • Clothes/Boots: Pale Green (45), Light Green (41)
  • Mug: Light Blue (36), Cobalt Blue (31)
  • Hot Chocolate: Beige (72)

I placed cut out the window by placing MFT’s Rectangular Peek-a-Boo die at the top center of a piece of 4.25 x 5.5 white card stock. I stamped the sentiment on the bottom of the window and set this piece aside. I used another piece of white cardstock in the same size and lightly marked the window opening onto it. Then, I blended Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide over the area making sure to keep the color darker on the top and lighter on the bottom. I added foam tape to the back on the window panel and attached this piece to the background piece. To finish the card, I glued on the Raccoon.

You can see how easy this card was to make! Hope you give it a try!

Thanks for stopping by! – Mona
