Clean and Simple Card using Lawn Fawn’s I Like You (a lotl)

Lawn Fawn I Like You (a lotl)

I was so happy and surprised when I opened this gift from my husband! He knows how much I love Lawn Fawn products and was definitely paying attention when I was showing him this new stamp set among Lawn Fawn’s new release. I finally had a chance to use it a few days ago and decided to create a clean and simple card.

To start this card, I stamped out images from the I Like You (a lotl) stamp set along with the shells from Life is Good onto Bristol Smooth Paper and cut them out with the coordinating dies. Next, I colored them using Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens with the following colors:

Body: Pale Orange (54), Pink Haze (201)
Shells: Vanilla (73), Oatmeal (64)
Seaweed: May Green (47)
Heart: Carmine Red (22)

I cut a panel with Lawn Fawn’s Outside In Stitched Square die by positioning it onto the top center of a 4.25×5.5 piece of white card stock. Once I cut out the square window, I stamped the sentiment underneath. I cut another piece of white card stock in the same size as the panel and marked the opening of the window. Then, I blended Distress Oxide Ink in Antique Linen, Salty Ocean, and Peacock Feathers over the marked area. Once that was dry, I added some foam tape onto the window panel and attached it the blended background. I added the images into place and finished the card by adding some Pretty Pink Posh Sparkling Clear jewels.

What a fun stamp set! I had a lot of fun making this card and I know I will be reaching for it again as I have some more project ideas!

Thanks for stopping by! – Mona
