Hello again! Isabel Cristina’s April release included a floral stamp set called Flower Wreaths, which is so beautiful! The flowers from this stamp set are what I used to make today’s card.
To make this card, I sized the flowers and leaves I wanted to use in Adobe Photoshop and printed the images using my laser printer. Then, I colored them with the following Copic markers:
Leaves: YG61, YG63, YG67
Flower: R22, R20, R000, Y21, YR0000
Flower: R22, R20
Flower: R00, R01
To make the window for the shaker card, I cut out a square, which was 4.25 x 4.25, from white card stock. I arranged the Braided Circle dies from Pink Fresh Studio in the center and ran everything through my die-cutting machine. Next, I turned the piece around and added acetate and foam tape. I cut another square in the same size as the top window piece from some light peach-colored card stock. Then, I added a mix of sequin and seed beads to the window piece, carefully removed the cover from the foam tape, and added the background piece. I used Phrase Builder Sending Dies and Prase Builder You Dies from Pink Fresh Studio to create the sentiment. I cut the pieces out several times and glued them together so the sentiment would have some dimension.
To finish the card, I arranged the flowers around the bottom left corner of the card. Once I was happy with the placement, I glued them in place. To finish the card, I added the sentiment in the center of the circle.
This card was so much fun to color and make. I love flowers, and this stamp set is perfect for any card! Thanks so much for stopping by! – Mona
