Up With Love Slimline Box Card

Mama Elephant Up With Love

Hello friends! Today I am so excited to be sharing another version of a box card that is new to my collection! Mama Elephant came out with a slimline box card die along with a rainbow add-on some time ago, and it has been on my wish list since then. I finally ordered it and got a chance to try it out!

I used the rainbow add-on dies and the cute critters from the Up and Away stamp set to make this card. I haven’t used my Zig Clean Color Real Brush pens in a while, so I thought I would use them to color the images. I don’t have an extensive collection of colored card stock, so I usually use distress ink to color things like rainbows die cuts. I find it works out well, and this way, I can choose from the many distress inks I have in my collection and customize what I like. I cut out a cloud edge using the cloud die and used it as a cloud stencil to create the clouds along the sides, bottom, and background. I had to play around a bit to get the images in the correct position, and once I was happy with the way it looked, I used acetate strips to attach them to the clouds.

This card was so much fun to make! I love that I have more space to create a scene and find both die sets to be very versatile. I am looking forward to creating more slimline box cards with other stamp sets from Mama Elephant!
