Fairy Friends Box Card

Hello crafty friends! I am so excited to be sharing another style of box card today! I made this card with My Favorite Things Outside the Box Level Up Die-namics. I had this die on my wish list for so long, and I finally decided to buy it alongside the Outside the Box Grassy Hills Die-namics. I have to say this is probably one of the best purchases I have made in a long time! I love how the different shelves stack up on an angle and the arched background. It is honestly one of the easiest interactive cards to put together!

I needed some more birthday cards in my collection, so I decided to make a birthday card using the adorable images from Lawn Fawn’s Fairy Friends stamp set. I colored all the images with Copic markers and used distress ink over a cloud stencil for the stitched arched background piece. I am not that experienced coloring skin and hair, so I had to take my time coloring those. Luckily the images are smaller, so it gave me good practice! Then, I cut out all the pieces for the box die out of some patterned paper that matched well with the colors of my images. Next, I cut out the grass pieces from green cardstock and blended some distress ink over them to create a bit of shading. Finally, I was ready for the most fun part, assembly! I spent some time arranging my images along the grass, and once I was happy with how everything looked, I used liquid glue to attach everything onto the box piece.

I had so much fun making this card! As I was making it, more ideas were coming into my head for future cards using different stamps sets, and I will be sharing them with you in the future!
