Hello friends! Hard to imagine we have already finished the first week of April! I love when the flowers and trees start blooming and the days become longer. Today I am sharing a project inspired by the latest Hello Bluebird challenge. When I saw that Hello Bluebird was starting challenges, I was excited. They make the most adorable stamps, and challenges help inspire me to get more creative! This challenge uses some beautiful pastel colors, which are perfect for Spring.

I started by stamping my images onto white cardstock. I cut them out and colored them with the following Copic markers:
Pink (RV00, RV10), Yellow (Y00, Y11, Y13), Green (G40, G43), Purple (BV02, BV00), Bear (E50, E51, E53), Bunny (W00, W0, W1), Cheeks/Ears (R00, R20)
Once I finished coloring the images, I cut out the tags and balloons. This tag die set contains one solid tag die and multiple frames you can use on top to create windows. I cut out four tag shapes with the solid die and then arranged the frame piece onto two of them to create the tag fronts. Then I blended Cracked Pistachio and Spun Sugar over the tags with the windows to create a grass and sky background. I colored the balloons with Distress Oxide Ink in Squeezed Lemonade (star) and Shaded Lilac (heart). Next, I added acetate and foam tape to the back of each window and filled it with sequins, confetti, and seed beads, and closed them up with the other two solid tags. Once the tags were closed, I arranged the images on top, and once I was happy with the placement, I glued everything into place. Finally, I finished the tags by adding some twine through holes in the top.
I always have fun making tags for all occasions, and this project was no exception. The colors in this challenge are easy to work with, especially if you like working with a softer color palette.
Thank you so much for stopping by! – Mona
