Hi everyone! I am happy to announce that I am a guest designer for Streamside Studios this month! This card features the adorable digital stamp set Dinos.

Using Silhouette Design Studio
Usually, when I am going to be creating a card with digital images, I first create a design on paper. Then, I use Adobe Photoshop or Silhouette Design Studio to create a template of the card panel so I can adequately size my images and add sentiments. For this card, I used Silhouette Design Studio to create a drawing of the A2 size panel and window die I was going to use to make this card. Then, I brought in the images and used the window to size them. Next, I placed the sentiment below the window and sized that as well.
Printing and coloring
I printed the images onto white cardstock with my laser printer. I did the same for the sentiment, ensuring I positioned it with enough room on the cardstock before printing it out so I could cut the window out with my dies and have the sentiment appropriately positioned below it. Then, I cut out the images with my Brother ScanNCut. Finally, I colored them with the following Copic markers:
Dinosaur: BG05, BG02, BG00, BG000, BG0000
Plants/Leaves: G17, G14, G12
Creating the card panel
I took the cardstock with sentiment and carefully positioned the third largest die from Lawn Fawn’s Outside In Stitched Square Stackables so that the sentiment would be underneath it. Once I was happy with the placement, I taped it into place. Next, I placed the largest Waffle Flowers A2 Layers die on the cardstock, ensuring I centered the window die correctly. Then, I ran everything through my die-cutting machine to create the window panel. I turned it around and placed foam tape all over the back. Next, I took another A2 piece of white card stock and laid the window panel on top. I marked the window area on the blank panel and then used Distress Oxide Ink in Tattered Rose over Lawn Fawn’s Cloud stencil to create a cloud background. Then, I peeled off the back from the foam tape and carefully placed the window panel on top.

Finishing the card
I glued the images into the window opening and added clear jewels from Pretty Pink Posh as a finishing touch. The images in this stamp set are perfect for anyone who loves dinosaurs!
Thanks for stopping by! – Mona
