Hi everyone! I am back after a lovely three-day weekend to share my latest project for Isabel Cristina Stamps. She just released a whole set of stamps for September, and they are so amazing! For this project, I used the mice from Santa’s Hat. When I saw this stamp set, I knew I had to make some holiday tags and pillow boxes!

Printing and Coloring
I started by sizing my images to fit the smallest of Pretty Pink Posh Scallop Square dies. I printed them out and colored them with the following Copic markers:
Mouse: W1, W0, W00, R20, R00
Hat: R22, R24, R27, R29
As you can see, the coloring was very simple and didn’t require too many markers!

Creating pillow box
I placed Lawn Fawn’s Pillow Box die over patterned paper from Isabel Cristina Stamps Snow Paper Pack and ran it through my die-cutting machine. I repeated this twice more with two different patterned papers from the pack. Next, I glued them together. Then, I set them aside to begin working on the tags.
Making the tags
I cut three tags from white card stock using the Pretty Pink Posh Scallop Square die. Next, I blended Broken China and Salvaged Patina distress oxide inks over each tag. Then I splattered some water over all of them to create the look of snow. Once they were dry, I used foam tape to add the images on each tag. Then I added snowflakes, punched a hole in the top, and added red and white twine to finish the tags.
I had so much fun making this project, and I can’t wait to use them for Christmas gifts! Pillow boxes are great for small treats or even gift cards! I made this set of pillow boxes in October of last year, and this project I made uses the same tags but a different stamp set. I hope you give them a try!
