Christmas Sentiments

Hi everyone! I can’t believe we have already finished the first week of November! I have been working on getting all the holiday cards ready. How about you? If not, I have some inspiration for you today using the Christmas Sentiments stamp set from Isabel Cristina Stamps November release!

This stamp set comes with five adorable stamps, and you get two versions. In one version, the sentiment is in black, and in the other, you can color in the sentiment yourself. For my project, I chose the black version.

Printing and Coloring

I started this project by sizing the image to fit the largest of Lawn Fawn’s Small Mini Slimline Stackables die and printed it out. Next, I positioned the die over the image and ran everything through my die-cutting machine.

Next, I printed the image onto some masking paper and carefully fussy cut the around it. I covered the image and blended Distress Oxide in Peacock Feathers and Cracked Pistachio over the top half of the card panel. Next, I splattered some white acrylic paint over it. Then, I carefully removed the masking paper and started coloring the image with the following Copic markers:

Snowman: B0000, R20, R00, C7, C5, C3, YR09, YR07, YR04, E25, E23
Scarf: R27, R24, R22
Bird: BG05, BG02, BG01

Finishing the card

Once I finished coloring the image, I adhered the card panel onto a background panel, which I cut with the largest of Lawn Fawn’s Large Mini Slimline Stackables die. Finally, I glued the card panel onto a matching card base and added some jewels from Pretty Pink Posh Party Mix onto the background.

I hope I inspired you to start making your holiday cards! This new stamp set makes it super easy! Thanks for stopping by, and check the rest of my blog or Instagram for more holiday card inspiration! – Mona
